Nothing anybody could have told us would prepare us for this trip! It will be bizarre. It will be boring. It will be exciting. The funniest 15 minutes of our lives would occur. We'd be talking about it for the next 16 years.

       Sometime in May or June, Perry and Roger asked me if I'd be willing to use my car and join them on a trip to Florida. At the time, my car was less than a year old and probably the only car that any of us owned that would make it.

I suppose they would have taken my car without me if they could but they became decent Humans for a change and asked me to join them. They would even pay for the gas!!!!

My own belief is that they wanted to be in Florida in the Chick Magnet Machine. 

My car was a beautiful 1981 Dodge Challenger     

which was excellent as a Chick Magnet but, as we would soon learn, was not exactly the most comfortable cruising machine for a 20+ hour car ride for 3 happenin' guys.

You see, we knew the ocean would be right outside our window

and a pool with you know what...

And when we got to Disney World, they'd be waitin' for us!
